Michael will be speaking on the Credentials of the Messiah (a Study in Matthew 1).
There is no doubt that Jews and Gentiles can read a passage with entirely different eyes. Matthew 1 is just such a case, where Gentiles quickly step over one of the most powerful passages in the New Testament, the lineage of Jesus. Far from being boring or irrelevant, as Jewish eyes fall on the opening verses of the New Testament, their eyes come into contact with something as Jewish as they are and more important than any other message they've ever heard.
